Our 7th week in 5th Class

On Wednesday the soldiers came to give us the flag and a copy of the Proclamation. In swimming we went on the slides because it was our last week. Mr McGovern will have a scary room next week. We were exceptional at our maths this week. Our attendance is perfect at the moment and we are close to a party. We had an art competition in art and Izabela,Erica and Kotryna won the competition. We are doing a new Halloween poem called Oíche Shamhna in Irish. We started reading our novel called "A Girl Called Blue". We watched the News Today. It was really good.

Our 6th week in fifth class

Simona has a cast on her arm, we all hope to sign it. We had a tough week of long division. We are learning the Irish National Anthem. We  had Mass today. Its nearly Halloween, we need to put up our decorations!!

It was Whitney's birthday on Thursday. We learned a new poem called An Old Woman of the Road. We have three letters for our perfect attendance. We learned a lot about shapes, lines and angles in maths. We started to learn the Our Father in Irish. We played a new game at swimming. We learned about the mountains of Ireland and Uswa learned all the counties. Whitney put 2 spiders  out of our classroom.
We had a fun week in fifth class.
