Last Day in fifth class

Fifth class was a blast . Especially our school tour .We had our school tour on Tuesday the 31st of May . We went to Lough Crew in Oldcastle Co Meath activities like archery,rock climbing,ziplining,commando bridge, mud pit and more.We had a sportathon as so fun the whole day without work we did fun activities,we got ice-cream.We were lucky and we had two  sports days  and in the second sports day we got ice-cream and did lots of fun activities. And we want to say that we all enjoyed fifth class and we cant wait for sixth class stay safe over the Summer and don't forget to enjoy

Multi Cultural Food Morning

A fantastic breakfast morning tasting foods from all over the world. There was Bigos from Poland, Barszcz soup from Poland, anchillsdas from Mexico, Bryiani from India, Kebas, polish cookies, Ciastro miodowe honey cake from Poland and madira buns. Welldone to all the girls who made a special effort. There was all delicious!!

Day Out at the Cinema

Recently the girls went to the cinema and watched "Angry Birds". This was a reward for raising the most money in the school before our sportathon. A great achievement by the girls and we had a great day out at the cinema as a well deserved reward. Welldone girls! 

Reading to Senior Infants

Every Friday the girls go into senior infants and read to the boys and girls of senior infants. 

Our extraodinary week

On Monday we started the pair reading,the tutor and the tutee both enjoyed it.On thursday we heard how Aine Cahill sing and Louise Johnston  played the piano, it was amazing. All of the class finished presenting their projects about France and they were extraodinary. Zuzanna won the Easter art competition.Today we also read with the little ones in senior infants. We all had fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surprise Performance

Aine Cahill and Louise Johnston treated the school to an amazing performance in the hall today. The whole school really enjoyed it.

FAI Soccer

An FAI coach came to teach the girls some soccer moves today as the first of many soccer classes started. Don't forget every Tuesday to wear the PE gear for soccer 👍

Seachtain na Gaeilge

The girls all took part in cèili dances today. The Siege of Ennis was very popular among the classes and the girls danced to it very well indeed. Comhghairdeas gach duine!
