Our Peaceful Dove Art Week!

On Friday the 20th the designer of the dove sculpture beside the park came to our class. We found out a lot of information about it. His name is Padraig. Ms Coyle left our school and went to another school in Dublin. We wrote our acrostic poems. During assemble two of the girls from 6th class did news reporting  for the school. Our spelling tests are at a very high standard. Mr McGovern is very pleased about this. We are playing heads and tails today. For art we decorated our peaceful doves. We watched the news today. It was Mr McGovern's birthday, he gave us no Irish homework. We went on our first class walk to check out the art sculpture beside the playground. It is Simona's birthday tomorrow.

Our Science 'tistic' Week

Our school came 3rd place in Cross Country. Nearly all of the class got 25 out of 25 in our spelling tests. We went to a mobile cinema to watch a science project. We learned new dance moves in dancing. We had a our big maths test on Thursday, Teacher expects improvement for Christmas. Were starting basketball today. We have a special guest coming next Friday to talk about art. Our drama was about a message in a bottle. We had to write a lot of information Europe, North and South America and Asia.

Our first week back

Were back from our mid term break,we couldn't get blogging last week because the internet went off. This week we learned about medieval times in Ireland. We started a new dance yesterday. It's Izabela's birthday today. We made our helping hands in art. Our poem in English is very sad,it's called Mid Term Break by Seamus Heaney. Simona got her cast of yesterday. We know how to add fractions and find a common denominator. We know all about narrative writing. Today we mimed drama called shipwrecked. We also done our first fire drill today.
